Monstera obliqua \u2018Tarapoa\u2019 is an extremely rare and highly delicate form of Monstera obliqua, native to the tropical rainforests of the Amazon basin, particularly in regions of Peru and Brazil near Tarapoa. In its natural habitat, it grows in very humid, shaded environments, often climbing along trees while developing its famously thin, highly perforated leaves.<\/p>\n

The name \u201cobliqua\u201d refers to the species, known for its extreme fenestrations and fragile leaf structure, while \u201cTarapoa\u201d indicates the specific locality where this form was originally identified.<\/p>\n
