Begonia Pollux

Begonia Pollux is named after the closed sun to our sun about 34 light years away. Since 1943 Pollux’s spectrum has been used as one of the anchor points to by which other stars are been classified.

With about 2 times the mass and 9 times the radius of our sun this is truly a giant sun and a massive part of our solar-system.💫

Well thats enough space talk for today…

All star talk aside, this is an easy begonia to grow in either household conditions or in a terrarium. When the plants gets older it will give more silver spots on the leaves.

🌱Grown by ourselves in our own Dutch nursery!🌱

Every plant is unique, the plant you receive can look a little different than the plant on the photo!
