Monstera Obliqua Tarapoa
€39,95
Monstera obliqua ‘Tarapoa’ is an extremely rare and highly delicate form of Monstera obliqua, native to the tropical rainforests of the Amazon basin, particularly in regions of Peru and Brazil near Tarapoa. In its natural habitat, it grows in very humid, shaded environments, often climbing along trees while developing its famously thin, highly perforated leaves.
The name “obliqua” refers to the species, known for its extreme fenestrations and fragile leaf structure, while “Tarapoa” indicates the specific locality where this form was originally identified.
We do have a fully mature specimen, which you can see in the last photo. It beautifully shows the characteristic when the plant is (fully) mature
For optimal growth and to support its climbing nature, place your Monstera obliqua ‘Tarapoa’ on a moss pole.
Happy growing! 🌿
Sold in 12cm pot.
