Monstera Obliqua Filamentous

Monstera obliqua ‘Filamentous’ is an extremely rare and delicate form of Monstera obliqua, believed to originate from the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, where it grows in warm, humid conditions as a climbing plant. This unique variety is admired for its exceptionally thin leaves and intricate, lace like structure, often featuring fine, thread-like connections between the leaf tissue.

The name “obliqua” refers to the species known for its highly perforated foliage, while “Filamentous” highlights the plant’s distinctive, almost skeletal appearance, making it a true collector’s piece.

Unfortunately, we do not currently have a fully mature specimen available. We do have plants that are gradually maturing, and we’re very excited to show you how they develop over time. They just need a bit more patience to reach their full potential.

For best results and to support its delicate growth, place your Monstera obliqua ‘Filamentous’ on a moss pole and provide high humidity.
